Katie Advocating On The Record 

• My civic advocacy has been consistent over the years. I have appeared at many City Council and Commission hearings in-person over the last few years, including on Short-Term Rentals, City Dock Plan, the City Dock historic preservation height limitation change (Blonder hotel)  and the Market House lease to advocate for transparency, fiscal responsibility and more resident centric policies. I was involved in forming Save Our Harbor, a citizen coalition to push back on the proposal for a 90+ slip marina at the City Dock.  I have raised concerns that public housing and public safety need priority attention and there is a need for coordinated and comprehensive housing policies as the short-term rental and over-development debacles demonstrate.
